Relevant Settings

Writing an essay about setting an FPS in Yugoslavia or Darfur on an international webzine is probably not going to go well for me. That, and the fact that there are tons of flash games coming out (which I realized before posting this last week) that are on these very topics.

Still, if you want a surefire way to get people from all walks of life informed about your cause...you know what I mean.

Off-topic comment, but I just saw your post about Braid in the Brainy Gamer "Chew Your Food" comments.

I had started writing and posting about Braid in September, but sort of lost steam and derailed myself. I'd be more than happy to create a positive feedback loop with you, should you ever get around to posting your thoughts.

Maybe, I'd be up for doing it for the next art house game that hits but gets ignored by the gaming community like Randy Balma. I don't own an Xbox360 so I've just got the one essay on it. Getting my friends to stop playing COD4 and let me back on there can be a tough sell.
